Can I still blog in jail?

So there's a certain person in my life that I have to deal with on a pretty constant basis. To say that he frustrates me so much that I would like to karate chop him in his man junk every time I see him, would be putting it mildly.

He's done everything in his power, and then some, to make sure everyday of my life is filled with uncertainty and doubt. Worrying about what will happen next, when the next shoe will drop. Even when I KNOW I've done nothing wrong, I still live with this hesitation about what the day will bring.

I probably have an ulcer by now!

Today I was stressing about it so much and my stomach was in knots. Talking to Mr. Man, his reply to the situation, which is remaining vague because this person probably reads this blog now, was "So what. If something happens that changes our current situation, then we deal with it and move on. Things will be ok. Stop stressing."

I was driving down the road while we had that conversation. Staring at the gorgeous blue skies with the big, white, puffy clouds. I realized he was right. Why was I letting someone else have that much power over my life that it was causing me physical anguish? Why would I allow someone I don't care about to dictate how my day would be going? It didn't make sense. We would be ok, no matter the outcome.

So, how much time do you think you get for karate chopping someones man junk? I still think it would be worth it...

mmmm......Karate chopping the man junk?! Make it look like an accident or self defense and I'm sure a jury of your peers will agree with your decision. :)

Karate chop his man junk...that's hilarious!s I've had people in my life I've felt like doing that to, too...but you (and your friend) are right...we need to remember not to sweat the 'small' stuff... ;) s
s
Happy SITS Day - congrats on being featured! :)

{{giggles}} love your description of what you'd like to do!s And you are so right, often we let the people who should matter to us the least affect us in ways that are totally out of proportion.s

since there is AB-SO-LUTELY no chance that my ex would be reading YOUR blog...I will share that HE is the only one that can do this to me!!!s He is a very manipulative person and for the months that slide by with out confrontation....well I thank God for those!!s But for the times when he can't be avoided...I Pray!s Lots and Lots and Lots of praying....mostly for strength not to kick him in his man parts....since I don't know karate!
Some people seem to thrive on being able to upset and disrupt the lives of others...don't let them get the satisfaction!

If you do it and get sent to jail, let me know and I'll join you! (as long as we can still blog) Happy SITs day.

I used to tell my daughter that we can't usually change the way people treat us but we can change how we react to the way people treat us.s You are in control of how this jerkweed affects you. Don't give him the power to make you upset. He's not worth it and your time will be better spent doing things you like rather than fuming about his petty actions. :) sI hope this helps.

I use to want to do that to my boss lady every day.s Finally, I got over it.
s
She retired.

So true. We tend to let the smallest things get under our skin, don't we? And I don't think you'd get much time for the chop. I've seen it done, and most of the time the action ends in applause.

hahaha

It might be worth it - jails are over crowded you're probably never serve any time at all.
s
Good luck with vague situtation - hope it works out.

this is a great post. i too, let other people get to me way more then i should. i've wanted to react in much the same way...

Very funny!s We all have "karate chop in the man junk" people in our lives.s Most of the time I try to let it roll off of my back & look on the bright side, but sometimes... aargh!s :)

Anonymous said...

You're right. Nothing a little "karate chop" can't solve !

Anonymous said...

Oh my....my husband was in that kind of position several years ago.s It got to be so bad ...so awful...and nobody at work would do anything about this particular person...instead of letting this person ruin our lives we left! (as did others)s Best thing we ever did.s My husband has a more stable career surrounded by mostly normal folk.s Anyway, I feel your pain.s Don't let that person eat you up...life is too short for that!
s
Happy SITS day!

We could start a 'pitch in' widget to hire the best lawyers and psychologists for your defense.s I think it may work.

Letting things go, taking the high road, being the better person...sOVERATED!s Go for the karate chop!

You're so right. My husband has been going through something similar with his boss at work.. It's hard to step back and realize that in the end, it is your life and YOU control the outcome!

Anonymous said...

This person is stressing you out so much I'm sure you can claim self-defense.

Anonymous said...

HAHAHAHA, love this post!!! I've enjoyed reading your blog, you're so honest and upfront...don't change it!!!

So funny! I bet if you ran away from him after "chopping his man junk" you could escape the consequences.. maybe.Love your blog.I will keep reading, Happy SITS!

There are a few people I would like to karate chop in their man (or woman) junk!s Never thought to put it that way though!s Awesome!

Anonymous said...

OHgosh - I can totally relate. There is an abusive SOB in my life-peripherals and every time there is ANY contact, which fortunately for me is becoming less and less, my entire being tenses up. We'll do time together. It'll make it go faster...

Anonymous said...

Passive aggressiveness is much less obtrusive and may not lead to jail. sJust spit in his milk and sit back and laugh while he drinks it. sIt's quite satisfying. s(personal experience.)

Okay, just tried to comment and all I got was a smiley face :) I LOVED this - just shared it with a friend of mine who's going through something similar and she HOWLED with laughter. Thanks for the good cheer this Friday the 13th.

Just think, if you're in jail, someone will cook for you and do your laundry.s You can sit around all day and read, work out or just plan think (blog???).s Just might be worth it.s :-P

Anonymous said...

I love that even though you came to a realization that he shouldn't dictate your day, you still feel he needs to be taught a lesson to.s Goo dluck with that.s Happy SITS day!

Anonymous said...

Here from SITS!s Funny stuff.s I learned that lesson this year--about letting someone's reactions dictate my life.s 3249587349587 stomachaches later, I think I'm finally getting it!

Anonymous said...

I just have one request... can I be there when you do karate chop his man junk?s :o)

Anonymous said...

I am the same way. I let everything affect me personally and physically. I've been trying to learn to 'not sweat the small stuff', but I still say there is no mental relief like visualizing karate chopping someones man junk. Love it.

Anonymous said...

Another point about jail, at least for myself, it would 'increase my yearly salary'. I put that in quotes because I wouldn't be actually paid, but it cost over $100,000 a year to keep one person in jail. That is more than triple my salary. As for my freedom; I have little seeing as how I have to be at work 90% of the time!

Anonymous said...

Congrats on your SITS day!
s
I am so glad you had your "lightbulb moment". No one else can make you see that you have the power to control your happiness. It has to be discovered on your own. I'm glad you can let go of this guy's power over you and realize that he actually has only the power that you give him. So don't give it to him at all!!
s
Have a wonderful day!

Too funny!

So long as you give the arresting officers the right look you get released (not that I would KNOW or anything ;) s).s If it's a chick, she'll ALWAYS let you go.s If it's a dude, ya just give him the old "I'll karate-chop YOUR man junk if you arrest me" look.s Bingo-bango.s Happy SITS.

I've got someone like that in my life right now. My stepkids mom is really rough around the edges and makes my life uncertain and at times emotionally unbalanced. It's very frustrating. And she also stalks my blog, along with her sister. It's quite irritating...

Anonymous said...

Lol at the man junk phrase, but UGH to having to deal with someone like that!
s
How much jail time...if the sheriff is a woman, I bet she'd let you off with no time!

Anonymous said...

I don't know if I'd ever want to karate chop it, but I do think it would be funny to maime it enough that is needed a little popsicle stick and some bandage around it.s And then I would remind him that it was the little mini popsicle stick he was using...not the regular size. HA! Just kidding... sort of.s Men are almost as sensitive down there when you use words like little and mini, as if it were an actual karate chop!

Anonymous said...

I'm pretty sure it's legal in most states to Karate chop man junk as long as you're not holding a knife in the chopping hand!s Happy Sits day!

Anonymous said...

you're right--sometimes I think it would totally be worth it. . .although for me, it's a woman that gives me so much crap.s Congrats on your sits day!

I am still learning to restrain myself from wanting to karate chop my 2-yr-old's tiny man junk. (We don't call him Hurricane Luka for nothin') I truly hope this is not a trend-to-be in this child's life with women.

Anonymous said...

i just wrote a post about dealing with my ex and trying to get child support.s and had i come here first...i would have stolen your man junk comment.s only...i'm not sure my ex has any man junk!!
i love your blog.s adding you to my reader, k?

Anonymous said...

i can't figure out your comment thing but...my blog is http://www.rockanddrool.com

Anonymous said...

You know I'm pretty sure you can karate chop away and then claim self defense...heh heh...but seriously good message. My husband is the calm one too...we can't change things...go with the flow...so I chant to myself...go with the flow. Thanks for the awesome blog.

Anonymous said...

Not sure how much time you could do.s Karate-chopping should get less time than removing a la Lorena Bobbitt. ;)

Anonymous said...

Haha.. chopping the man junk... hmm. sI still would like that option sometimes too!! sIt really is true though, it's not even worth our time!

Anonymous said...

haha!!

Anonymous said...

Ha ha I always tell my Hubby that I will do that to his junks if he cheats on me. Good luck with this rude dude.

Anonymous said...

Stopping by from SITS to say hi!s I love this blog!s Congradulations on being the FB.

Anonymous said...

Too funny! sThe karate-chopping part, that is...
s
I also find it hard not to care too much about what other people say towards me or think about me...

Anonymous said...

I knew someone who made me feel the same way.s Luckily, I haven't seen him in years now.

Anonymous said...

Can I just go on the record saying that no matter how much I tell myself to let it go and not letsitseffect the day dealing with the "situation" still makes my heart fall into my butt and brings on the worst anxiety attack. You would think the fact that my life is dang near perfect now and thatsI am so happyswould make all of that go away!! Anyways I am visiting from sits and think you are great!!

Anonymous said...

A friend of mine always said "Why let that person rent space in your brain" I always loved that saying.
s
I love the karate chop line haha

Anonymous said...

I am going to totally include "karate chop some man's junk" in my daily conversations from now on!

Anonymous said...

I understand what you are going through.s I've had people in my life like that as well.s It is hard coming to the point of not caring, but it is great advice. Sometimes you can't help it though.s Take care, stopping by from SITS>

Anonymous said...

Eh... I'd consider it self-defense.s Just make sure I'm on your jury!

Anonymous said...

Hilarious.s I would also like to watch the man junk karate chop.s I know it is not right to laugh at someoen's pain, but sometimes it feels so good.

Anonymous said...

Hello - I'm here from SITSa Hmmm - good question!s I don't have a good answer unfortunately.s But just let it all roll off your back
